Part of the reason I went home was for a family bridal shower at my Step Mom Joyce's, hosted by her and my lovely Aunts Judy and Carol. It was so much fun! Yummy food (spinach quiche, zucchini bread, and an amazing fruit tart to say the least) and perfect company. My Aunt Judy went above and beyond, though, knitting Kirk and I "fertility hedgehogs", in our wedding colors no less! They are adorable, and we're going to treasure them forever!

Oh my what a very special week-end of celebrating your NEW LIFE TOGETHER has been. I am crying as I think of last night and all that we were part of. Thank you so much for including Burton and I in this most important event in your lives. What wonderful families you both have and your friends and co-workers, just fabulous.
