The other night I cooked beets for the first time in my life. Sure, I've eaten many a beet, and love them, but always from a can or at a restaurant. This was quite an experience, I just had to document my meal. The color! The intensity! I've been experimenting with cooking greens and chopped up the leaves to combine with the beets, onions, and a kashi pilaf. YUM! Am I boring or what? Seriously, this blog WILL get more interesting as the wedding date nears, I promise!

Hey beets! And that looks good. I love beets, and with some feta and olive oil and basalmic with some basil. Get ready to live.
