flower boxes

Ever since I've moved to NY I've wanted to start up some sort of garden ... I miss my small plot of dirt back in Boston where I planted a random assortment of annuals to skim the sidewalk in front of our apartment. On the way home from Montauk that fateful weekend in May, we stopped at a nursery to buy some window boxes and flowers. I hope to add some herbs, too, like mint and basil. I'll take new pics at the end of the summer to see how my green thumb manages six flights up!
